Why we exist
Furriel began with a love of animals and the wish to see them well looked after.
Anyone who lives with a pet knows how easy it is to lose track of everything. The date of the last vaccine, the name of that medicine, the vet visit left for “next week”. We created Furriel so that all of it stays organised and at hand. That leaves more time for what really matters: being with them.

Getting started
How much does Furriel cost?
Nothing. Furriel is completely free for pet owners, with no ads and no hidden costs. Records, files, reminders and the service search are all included.
Where can I download Furriel?
Furriel comes to iPhone first, on the App Store. The Android version is on its way.
Which animals can I add?
Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, fish, rodents, ferrets and others. You can have several pets, each with their own profile: species, breed, sex, date of birth (even approximate, for rescued animals), microchip and passport.
Do I need to create a password?
No. You sign in with your email: we send you a code and that's it. One less password to remember.
Health and reminders
Which health records can I keep?
Vaccines (with dose, batch and next date), internal and external deworming, medication, diet, conditions and allergies, weight, mood, physical activity and insurance. In the diary you log vet visits, tests, surgeries, baths, trips and everything else, with photos and PDFs attached.
How do reminders work?
For vaccines and deworming, Furriel reminds you 7 days before, 3 days before and on the day. Medication, meals and your own reminders arrive right on time. Reminders are tied to your account, so they keep arriving even if you change phone.
How do I book an appointment?
In Explore you find the places near you with address, opening hours and contacts, and you book with them directly by phone or email.
Does Furriel replace the vet?
No. Furriel helps you organise and remember everything about your pet, but it does not replace the advice of a veterinary doctor.
Family and friends
Can I share a pet with my family?
Yes. You create a share code and the other person becomes a co-owner: they see and log everything about the pet and also get the reminders. You choose whether access has no end date or ends within a year.
Can I remove access from someone I shared with?
Yes, at any time and with immediate effect. The records that person added stay on your pet's profile.
Your data
Is my pet's information mine?
Yes. You can export your pet's Clinical Record as a PDF, with the files from vet visits, whenever you like. We don't share your data with anyone without your consent.
Where is my data stored?
On servers in the European Union, with access rules that make sure each person only sees their own data.
How do I delete my account?
In the app itself or on the Delete account page of this site. You have 30 days to change your mind: if you sign in again, the request is cancelled. After that, the account and the data are erased.
