Website Cookie Policy — Furriel
Last updated: 21 October 2026
This is a translation of the Portuguese text. If they differ, the Portuguese version prevails.
This page explains which cookies and similar technologies Furriel uses on furriel.pt, what they are for and how you can change your choice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device, in order to work, remember preferences or measure how it is used. The browser’s local storage (localStorage) serves the same purposes and is treated in the same way in this policy: whenever we talk about cookies, we also mean local storage.
Which cookies we use
| Technology |
Purpose |
Type |
Duration |
furriel_analytics_consent (local storage) |
Stores your decision to accept or decline usage analytics, so that we do not ask again. |
Necessary |
Until you clear the website’s data in your browser |
furriel:locale (local storage) |
Stores the language you chose in the language selector, so that we open the website in that language. |
Necessary |
Until you clear the website’s data in your browser |
| Cloudflare Turnstile |
Tells people apart from bots in the contact form and the professionals form. |
Necessary |
For the duration of the check |
| PostHog (random visitor and visit identifiers, local and session storage) |
Measures how the website is used, so that we can improve it. |
Analytics (only with consent) |
Until you withdraw your consent or clear the website’s data |
Necessary cookies do not depend on your consent, because without them the website cannot store your choice or protect the forms. Analytics cookies are only enabled after you click “Accept”.
Usage analytics (PostHog)
On your first visit we ask whether you accept usage analytics, with two buttons, “Accept” and “Decline”, and no pre-selected option. Until you choose, and if you decline, PostHog is not loaded and receives no data. Declining does not limit the website.
If you accept, we record:
- the pages you visit and the moment you leave them;
- clicks on the App Store and Google Play buttons;
- the opening of the professionals form;
- the submission of a form, only the type (contact or professionals), never what you wrote.
Each record is accompanied by technical browser data: browser and device type, operating system, language, screen size, the page you came from and an approximate location (country, region and city), calculated from the IP address. PostHog discards the IP address without storing it.
The records are linked to a random identifier created in your browser. We do not ask for or send your name, email address or telephone number, we do not use this data for advertising and we do not combine it with your account in the application. We use it on an aggregated basis, to understand how many people visit the website and what they are looking for.
PostHog acts as a processor and hosts the data in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). More details in the Privacy Policy.
Anti-bot check
The contact form and the professionals form use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from bots. Turnstile is only loaded when a form appears on screen. It may process technical browser data for that purpose and is not used to track you across websites or for advertising.
Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time: open this policy through the “Cookie Policy” link in the footer of any page and choose “Accept” or “Decline”. If you decline, PostHog stops collecting data and we delete its identifiers from your browser. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block all of them, the website will ask you about usage analytics again and the anti-bot check on the forms may fail.
Changes to this policy
If we change the technologies we use, we update this page and the date at the top.
